Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between Go Bolder Media Inc. (“Got UGC”, “we”, “us”) and the Shopify store that installs the Got UGC app (“you”, the “merchant”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you use the app on behalf of a business, you confirm you can agree for that business.
The service
Got UGC helps you run creator collaborations: an application page for creators, email conversations, a portal for each creator, free orders for gifted product and a place to collect their content links. We may improve or change features over time. We’ll tell you before removing anything significant.
Price
Got UGC is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you in advance, bill only through Shopify, and you can choose whether to subscribe. Nothing will be charged without your approval.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app lawfully, including advertising, endorsement and anti-spam rules that apply to working with creators.
- Only email creators who applied to work with you or who expect to hear from you, and respect requests to stop.
- Tell creators how you use their information. Your store’s privacy policy should cover your creator program.
- Keep your Shopify account secure and don’t misuse the app, its emails or other people’s data.
- You’re responsible for your agreements with creators, including what you offer, pay or send them.
Data and privacy
You own your store’s data and your creators’ information. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. For creator and customer personal data, you are the controller and we act as your processor: we follow your instructions given through the app, keep the data confidential and secure, use only the service providers listed in the privacy policy, help you respond to people’s privacy requests, tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, and delete it when you uninstall the app.
Content
Content that creators share through the app belongs to them or to you, according to your arrangement with them. We don’t claim any rights to it and only store the links or details needed to show it to you.
Availability
We work to keep Got UGC running reliably but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Short interruptions can happen, for example during updates.
Ending
You can stop using Got UGC at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously broken or the app is misused. When the app is uninstalled, your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost sales, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
